knowing Kirby and Company there will be no concrete answers. And for the record I am fine with that.

Kirby is pretty good about using the media to put out whatever narrative he wants to establish. He will keep most things close to the vest. His choices for player reps are good. Can't wait to hear what Nolan Smith has to say about the revamped defense - GO DAWGS!

I expect the team to be as ready as they can be. The days of Richt's teams (yes, I loved and supported the guy but it was a common theme) looking like they had never played together on Game #1 are long over. The only real question is whether our offense can increase it's production to match the superstars we lost on D (because yes, they did win us a lot of games last year).

In terms of QB, the only thing I hope is that Beck and Vandagriff get shots this year especially in blowout games. It was really unacceptable and risky to have your starter still playing in the 4th quarter of blowouts.

I'm obviously hoping for a repeat, but feel satisfied that we finally got a NC. My main concern will be seeing us still be competitive and hopefully making the playoffs or at least finish in the Top 10.
