- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Just read on Athlon that Elijah Holyfield was injured during training camp with Bengals, placed on Injured Reserve and will be unavailable this season. Heart goes out to this warrior.

    Have never understood why he couldn't stay on an nfl active roster. He would have decent preseason stats if I remember correctly.

    Not saying he would be pro bowl rb. The teams that cut him were always underwhelming, with a lackluster run game.

    Just my opinion.

    Just would have loved it if he would’ve stayed one more year…..wasn’t a high draft pick ( maybe he was sold a bill of goods) and would’ve benefited tremendously with one more year accompanying Swift in the backfield!
