I hate to hear about Smith - it seems the kid can't catch a break (no pun intended). That's a shame for him and for Georgia - it seems the sky is the limit with this guy - when he is healthy. Georgia really needs his speed on offense. Hoping he can come back soon from his surgery. Wishing him the best as he recovers! GO DAWGS!

IMO Arian needs to stick with track & field. These surgeries may even hamper that endeavor. He is fast but not football durable. He didn't even make the first game this time. Arian is very likeable and gives his all but his ankles, it seems, are not strong enough for SEC football. IMO.

Arian just can't catch a break, but I'm not worried about our receiver room as long as we get out of Fall practice mostly unscathed in that department. I'm excited to see Blaylock show us what he can do. Glad to see he is a standout at practice. He's certainly got the talent if he can stay healthy now. I'm expecting to see Gilbert used more as some sort of wideout or slot receiver than a TE. Talk about a mismatch for most teams!

Just terrible about Arian. Prayers for his full & speedy recovery. The guys that we Do have are gonna just have to step up Big Time !! And I truly Believe they will. We still have some very, very fine players in the receivers room not even counting TEs. And opportunity is truly knocking for some of the younger guys. Would someone Please get some Red&Black pesticide and drown the injury bug in it ??!!?? It’s all gonna work out. We have a Tremendous Coach in Coach Monken and his staff !! Go Dawgs. !!

Very unfortunate and sad that this young player will be limited for some time in his ability to contribute to the team success and build his individual brand.

The beauty of CFB is that you have 85 scholarship players. It is an opportunity for another player to step up. ASmith SHOULD return at some point this season. But this supports the idea of bringing guys back from injury very gradually. By limiting their playing time you reduce risk of re-injury. This maximizes their availability for the games that really matter most and ensures that you have the squad close to full strength for the SECCG and CFBPG's.

This is a pretty deep team with the possible exception at S. UGA should not be in a rush to push TSmith, ASmith, TRatledge, KMilton or DWashington into extensive action before mid-season.

Get Well Arian. This season is will be a fantastic opportunity for other Wrs to step up. We have many coming back off of injury and now is the time to shine.
