WATCH: Dan Lanning has Oregon Ducks flying high after ‘really physical’ scrimmage
ATHENS — Oregon coach Dan Lanning continues to be impressed with his team’s growth with the season-opener against Georgia approaching.

How on earth an 11th-ranked team is an 18 point underdog is beyond me, especially with all the backstory incentive they have to overachieve in this game. Throw in the very fact of this disrespectful spread, not to mention a dang good head coach, and Oregon will be at the top of their game. Sure hope Georgia is just as ready. Go Dawgs!
Don't forget a veteran QB who is familiar with UGA and SEC game speed. CKS usually calls off the Dawgs in the 2nd half (especially against protege Lanning?).
That's right, Bo Nix is no slouch. I hope I'm wrong, but wouldn't be shocked if the first half is close and a fairly even tilt. I do expect, however, the Georgia road graders will wear the Ducks down in the second half, pulling away with a comfortable, though maybe less than 18 point margin. Go Dawgs!
There's PAC 10-12 physicality and there is SEC physicality. Can OR sustain physicality vs UGA the whole game?
MI couldn't sustain UGA's physicality in the CFBPO. An argument could be made that AL couldn't sustain UGA's physicality in the CFBCG based on how effective the UGA O was in the 2nd half especially running.
UGA OL is bigger this season. Love to be a mind reader in the heads of the OR DT's and MLB the 1st time UGA breaks the huddle and Willock, SVPG and Truss walk up to the line . Imagine something like, "this is gonna be a long game."
UGA DL not as big as last year but expect liberal substitution of skilled, hungry and underrated players. Imagine waves of fresh players against an OL in their 1st game with little substitution.
Coach Lanning is impressed with his team's growth.
Four interceptions in Saturday's scrimmage.
Those two statements don't go together.
