Malaki Starks ‘earned that right’ to start at safety for Georgia football
ATHENS — Given the recruiting ranking Malaki Starks arrived at Georgia with, there was a natural desire to want to see him on the field quickly. Starks was the No. 1 ranked athlete in the 2022 recruiting cycle and the No. 19 overall player.

Uhmmmm, How sweet it it....Starks and Williams.
Yep, he definitely earned not only his right as a starter, but likely as a superstar in the Oregon game. He had surprisingly little "actions" in the Samford game, but that's probably a sign of him doing the job well.
I watched the tackle at the one again this morning. I didn’t notice him dodge a falling player at first so that actually slowed him down . But….watch again how he closes starting around the 30. He was just getting to top speed at the tackle! Fires me up to watch players that can REALLY run.
