Kirby Smart, Georgia players discuss Will Muschamp factor ahead of South Carolina game
ATHENS — Much will be made of Will Muschamp’s return to South Carolina on Saturday, as Georgia’s co-defensive coordinator returns to the school where he was the head coach from 2016 through the 2020 season.

It's interesting to see Muschamp now at UGA in comparison to his time at Florida. He is clearly a dramatically happier guy, even though he's now in a "lesser" role, and it's showing in his and the D's collective performance. I think it points to the continual "culture" focus of CKS, and how he can bring together folks across all different roles who are quite different on the outside but appear to share a lot of common personal values and ethics.
Kirby is clearly creating an environment that brings the best out of the vast majority of people who join the program. Probably some life lessons there, IMHO 😁👍
Muschamp has done a tremendous job at UGA! I'm calling the recent results - first 2-games - of a giant defensive rebuilt as logic defying. Coach Muschamp is a big part of that.
I don't see how the defense doesn't take a step back after losing all that first round talent but so far so amazing!
I believe Smart when he says he has the best coaching staff since he's been at UGA. It may be the best in CFB.
GOOOODAWGS!
I was pretty displeased with CWM when he badmouthed Georgia while he was employed by the University of West Gainesville (FL). I was not a fan of Kirby's decision to bring him back to Athens.
I admit it.
I was wrong. By all accounts, Muschamp's been a great addition.
No doubt about it, Kirby's built a tremendous staff. If there's a better coaching staff in the nation or even a reasonable candidate I don't know of it.
Go, Dawgs!
When coach Muschamp brought S. Car to Athens and pulled the upset a few years ago, didn't he allow the players to tear up the hedges after the game? I hope he returns the favor this week!
