Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

ATHENS — Kirby Smart might find a thank-you note from yet another SEC team in his email on Sunday morning.

Stevenson also muffed a punt, essentially gift wrapping 7 points for the Aggies. And Burton isn't exactly lighting it up at Bama like all the so-called experts predicted, in spite if having the Heisman favorite getting the ball to him. Go Dawgs!
Bless their hearts! Not really interested. They left. Buh bye.
I told you Young was great...only as long as he had a Williams, Waddle, Smith or Metchie; a line and backfield that can block...and a RB that can run for "power" in 3rd down situations. BAMA doesn't have that. Burton sure as hell didn't give it to them. Therefore, they aren't the team you think they are...and he isn't the Heisman QB, you think he is. Young will give them a couple of games, they might otherwise lose...but, it may not be enough to get them back to the ATL. And, Will Anderson??? UGA has several of those guys.
Next chapter.......enter Athens and the Dawgs. All year, I tried telling you guys what was coming. Here they are, and people still don't get it, yet. The perfect "Team"....the "2022 Georgia Bulldogs". A team by which all others will be measured.
I find the fact that JT Daniels is languishing in obscurity an interesting story. Burton supposedly left because Daniels wasn't given the QB1 nod. I'd take Stetson over JT any day of the week, and now it's a proven point. And I have nothing at all against JT Daniels. Ability and a high football IQ is a rare thing. Just strange how things work out. My son played with Kedon Slovis, and for a while he was touted as a top 10 draft pick. Now he's at Pitt injured again and nowhere on anyone's radar. College football is always ready to deliver a zig when everyone zags.
Interesting that Burton is averaging half the receiving yardage per game that he had at UGA last year. Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence.
