    Last year's tape, yes., but this year we are going to be even better. Kent State is about to find this out.

    It's hard to believe that in year one/two of the KS coaching tenure that the prevailing commit was how Kirby is a good coach but he doesn't develop players.....the purveyors of that accusation never considered the extremely important dimension patiences and the "buy in by players" patiences plays in the development of raw talent. Now that we have a NC under our belt and six seasons of proof, I'd wager that if you could find another coach that embraced that same commitment and employees the same football philosophy, you could go to any division school in this country and in 3-4 years be a NC.
