Kirby Smart shares thoughts on former Georgia edge rusher Brenton Cox: ‘He’s a game-breaker’
Georgia coach Kirby Smart knows a few things about several members of the Florida defense. That’s in part because he coached them while they were Georgia Bulldogs.

Brenton and Jalen who? Never heard of them. Go Dawgs and all you loyal players who are patient and EARNED your playing time!!!
That’s just Kirby being diplomatic. He doesn’t want to give anyone any extra ammunition. Cox was and still is a streaky player at best…and he’ll take plays off in a second. That’s why he could not and did not make it at UGA.
Regardless of the past, Cox will be bringing all he has this game and as hard or harder than he ever has in his life. I expect our coaches to use that to our advantage.
Regardless of why they left, both Cox and Kimber would be a big help to the Dawg defense this year, if they were on it. It's too bad they aren't, so hoping that we neutralize them both on Saturday.
