“I know Nolan means a lot to the team and he’s really given me the confidence to be the vocal leader that I am today.”

That's what great leaders do, they identify the next generation of leaders and help develop them to be even better than themselves. I believe the atmosphere around the UGA Football Program is perfect for this kind of player/leader development. We've heard the coaching staff stress the importance of player leadership, and we've seen it demonstrated in several players who were real difference makers for their team from year to year. It's no accident, I believe it's there by design and it's proven to be extremely effective. Player leadership not only enhances the quality of play with everyone rising to their highest potential, it also shows in the level of discipline that we see (very few penalties and turnovers, form tackling, etc.). It's a great team built around a solid core belief that includes player leadership. GO DAWGS!

Just think that this team is extremely young and should be better in 2023. Can anyone say Three-Peat!!!
