Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Another great article, Mike!
Just fascinating to see the honor, love and respect put forth by these various icons of the sports world …. from those who worked with as well as competed against Coach Dooley!
Thanks for sharing, Mike! Coach Dooley, a DGD that will be missed by all!
Excellent job Mike !! Thank You !! RIP Coach Dooley. You Will be missed by so many people, and your memory cherished by Dawg Nation. Great Coach, Great Dawg, Great Georgian, Great Man = Coach Vince Dooley
For us older Dawgs coach Dooley gave us a lot of great moments and memories, only those that knew him and were close to him truly knew what kind of man he was. The world needs more great men (and women) and the influence they have on all of us. Vince and those like him are and will continue to be missed. God bless the entire Dooley Family....
A very appropriate outcome today will be the JYD saving the day.
With a nod to Erk
The epitome of a southern gentleman. I think Chris Fowler summarized Dooley's character pretty well with these few words: "honest integrity and quiet toughness."
