Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I thought that one of the big plays was the 75 yd punt that stranded TN at the 1 yard line in the east (closed) end zone. We need to come up with a nickname for that end of the stadium - the Grave Yard maybe? Because that’s where the opponents hopes and dreams go to die. It also relates to the cemetery just outside the stadium across the tracks.
That closed east end has to be the loudest place on earth - with the student section on one side (along with the Redcoats no less) and the alumni section on the other. TN was totally flummoxed trying to call plays in that environment with multiple false starts. The Dawgs should have had a safety but the refs took it away.
We saw the same last year when Arkansas was backed up in the east end and the result was a blocked punt. Time and time again, the closed end has been “closed for business” to teams thinking they can beat the Dawgs.
This is not to say that the west end zone isn’t loud too. However it just doesn’t have the same number of fans to create the noise. The west end also has a different purpose with the locker room and recruiting suite.
The east end zone needs a nickname signifying how hard it is to play there. Any suggestions?
