Smith was patient and it has paid dividends. Many will hit the portal rather than wait for that "opportunity" to start. Chris Smith is an outstanding Dawg and will shine in the NFL. Now, Chris, shine a couple more games for UGA!

Happy for all the accolades for CHris Smith! A guy who stuck around and did everything the right way. It's about to pay off for him in the Draft! Go Dawgs!

I have a feeling the Smith will turn out to be a better pro football Safety than Lecounte.

I pray that Smith isn’t going on any dirt bike rides over the next few weeks.

Love the story and history of Smith. What a testimony to taking care of your business and being ready when the call comes. Really like the statement at the end about staying and playing within the game plan and not trying to do too much on your own. Great advice and it really shows with his game. Go DAWGS

Words cannot express how impressive this young man is. His head is on straight, he has purpose and he is on a mission. Praying that as good as his college career has been (and it's been GREAT), that he has an even better game than all the ones he has had before (Clemson, Tenn, LSU) against tOSU. What a leader for these younger guys! Because of him (and others like him), we will probably not see the numbers leaving the program like other schools do. Lead by example, that's Chris Smith, a DGD! GO DAWGS!

I will always remember the pick six he had against Clempson in 2021. That play really showed the nation what kind of defense the Dawgs had (holding them to 3 points didn't hurt!) and really ignited that defense and what could be expected each game going forward.

    Christopher Smith.... a DGD always!

    Go Dawgs! Hate on Bucknuts!
