Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

@CClayC88 yeah. I was. As highly as I regard Stroud, I still think that Bennett's performance was one for the ages.
UGA has won a national championship with with an average but coachable QB. And, we will win another in a few days. This shows how good the Dawgs are. Think of how badly UGA would have beaten OSU if Stokes had been in a UGA uniform.
Au contraire. I think Coach Smart's shrewd and timely time out in the 4th qtr was the play of the game.
Bennett's stats were as good or better than Shroud's, except the running, although Stet had a running TD and a couple other nice runs to go along with his 3 through the air so he was not Mr Everything for UGA like Stroud had to be, but his stats were as good or better overall on paper. And he still can do better and I hope he goes out without an INT. But I really do not care as long as UGA wins! Just win baby!
TG LMcC recognized that it was a lateral and got on it. Covering that was another game saving play.
SBIV can drill a pass between 3 defenders 20 yards down field (BB's 1st down 4th Q) but can't flip the ball 20' to an open outlet (McConkey) . Remember the circus catch wide open MRJ made vs LSU for a 1st down on a pass thrown behind him?
SBIV (The Rollercoaster) reverted to Tom Brady from Tony Romo for the 4thQ . Can he do it 1 more time? SBIV will be coached up this week to be more game manager and less gunslinger.
Yes. In addition to the fake punt lineup, OSU had 12 men on the field, not detected by the refs.
BTW, despite all OSU's fans whining, the hit on Harrison was not targeting. He was standing on the end line, corraling a pass that was meant to be thrown away, and he was separated from the ball by Bullard's crushing hit. Standing there waiting for a fluttering pass, one can expect to pay thr price. Harrison did. If Harrison let's that thing go, he's still in the game.
i think i can come up with 4 poor plays/decisions by Stetson, off the top of my head. The int, obviously. Of course he may have slipped, and if he had seen Mcintosh surging behind the defender, maybe he throws it up more; Mc had him beat. The near int at the end of the half, meh - no factor. the illegal forward pass, bad awareness, but followed it up with a bomb setting up Milton's TD. And the lateral to McConkey, which was like the near barf to Bowers against Ga Tech. Compare those to the rest of the night where he was very good with only 8 incompletions..
I will always find it odd that our program can amass this much talent and then not just settle, but celebrate mediocrity from our QB position🫤
