Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Unforgettable week for Dawg Nation includes life’s highs and lows
A week of unbridled celebration has ended with shock and grief.

Best piece I’ve read this weekend.
Thank you, Bill, for the usual detailed and engaging recap of the Natty II celebration, but my heart is so grieved over the loss of these two beautiful UGA football family members, Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy. My sincere hope is that Warren McClendon and Tory Bowles fully recover soon. Such a tragedy.
Excellent piece Bill! I am in Gulf Shores and was not able to be there for the festivities, but I feel like I was there after reading your testimony of the proceedings. Wonderful job. GO DAWGS!
Bill, another great article. I always look forward to your honest and informed opinion.
Prayers going out for those involved in the tragic accident, and their families.
Bill, your articles are always the best! 👍
Thanks so much, sir, for your most eloquent review of this weekend’s celebration of our glorious Dawgs and their success this year. It is definitely a great time to be a Georgia Bulldog!
And it is also a time of reflection for the tragic taking of lives from our Bulldog family….
Words cannot convey our heartbreak…..our thoughts and prayers go out to these young people, their families, friends and all the Bulldog family who knew and loved them.
May they all find peace….
Bill is the last of a dying breed…the professional journalist!
Thanks for the play-by-play from yesterday Bill.
Awesome... and here's to 2023 and a THREEPEAT!!
"Bill is the last of a dying breed…the professional journalist!" I agree and love Bill. Now if Dawgnation would invest a little money and hire a proofreader! e.g.: the Smart family attended a FOOTBALL GAME AT STEGEMAN., Every piece has internal inconsistencies, mispellings incorrect quotes, poor grammar, horrible use of cliches, etc. Come on AJC, you need to do better!!!
Great recap of yesterday's festivities and the events after the National Championship game.
Thank you also for acknowledging the loss of two members of the Bulldog family. It's very tough to go from unbridled joy you described to sadness. Hopefully it will give their families and all who knew them comfort to know that they got to experience what had to be one of the happiest days of their lives. May they rest in peace.
