The UGA DT depth chart is 3 seniors (Stackhouse, Brinson, Logue) plus a junior (Ingram-Dawkins) AND a couple of sophomores that at this point are certain to enter the draft after their junior seasons (Alexander and Williams). With that combination of experience, quantity and quality I can't see why they would do anything but let the true freshmen dedicate a year to the weight room/nutrition thing as well as to position coaching. Particularly since UGA plays a "Parcells 3-4" where the DLs have to do a lot more than in the "Chuck Noll 3-4" (where DTs only have to stop the run and occupy the OL to free the LBs and blitzers) or in 4-3 schemes where 2 of the DLs can be one-dimensional.

Finally, the scout team gets the credit and respect they deserve. These guys work as hard or harder than the starters, rarely if ever see the field, hardly ever get any recognition but without them The DAWGS would not be repeat NC's with a high percentage of being the first Three-peat Team in the modern era. The scout team is an integral part of our TEAM and all are DGD's!
