Seems like UGA is always behind the times with facilities, I hope they make a serious effort at enhancing the fan experience at all the venues. There's no reason for not competing at a high level with all the programs.

Reminiscent of the struggles Coach Richt experienced with football in the 2000's. It remains to be seen if Coach Stricklin can lead a team to Omaha, but don't kid yourselves into thinking that facilities and amenities don't matter. Give him an equal opportunity to compete and then you'll know if we have the right coach in place.

All you have to do is look at what Tech has done. Tech of all people. If we are being honest, all of the other sports programs have been pushed back because of the investment in football and that investment has paid off in spades. But it is now time to upgrade baseball and track. Get these two right and Georgia can compete in the Top 10 year in and year out in these sports. They have the right coaching; they just need the facilities to back it up.

And once that is completed; then there has to be a very real discussion of the cost of tearing down or completely redesigning of Stegeman and spending some serious money here.

Athletic Department just showed a $34MM profit and claims that it is 'really' about 1/4 Million. While I have always admired how fiscally responsible the Dawgs have been; with a serious rainy fund that you can only marvel at, it's time to begin to really step it.

They can afford to bet against a new TV contract, might be ESPN/ABC (Mickey is bleeding red) or it might be a combination of networks, but there is serous money coming the SEC'S way starting in 2025. Put the plans in place, fund raise and get to building.

    Talk is cheap.
