Yes, as Smith says, "The Defense is Rolling!" hopefully, "10" and "2" will not do anything (like racing) to screw up the good thing they got going on. Hopefully the silver lining with the tragic car crash that left two Georgia members dead will be that others will knock off the desire to break the law and put others in danger. One can hope!

What a luxury we have at the second level of our defense!

Smael and JDJ are All-American candidates. Chambliss is more than solid and experienced. When he was healthy, Marvin Jones played like a soon-to-be star. And I'm not even counting the fact that Jalon Walker and Darris Smith will be competing for starts at the outside. Most impressively, to rotate in, we have four other talented returnees (at least for now) and six even more ridiculously talented freshmen.

For all our recent riches at LBU, I'm not sure ever been this good or this deep all four positions. These guys are a bit bigger and in some cases faster than even the 2021 crew led by Dean, Walker, Smith and Tindall. The most remarkable thing: If one guy gets injured or doesn't pan out for some reason, we've got so much depth others will be very capable of stepping up.
