    Past performance is no guarantee for the future. BUT, the Dawgs did OK replacing the stars from 2021.

    2023 is going to be a very interesting year for Georgia. It's going to be almost impossible to replace everything that Bennett brought to the table, with a brand-new starter. Even so, I think the rest of the skill position players could be even better.

    Same thing goes for the defense. Carter will be impossible to replace but there may be more D-line depth and the defense could be even better this season.

    Everyone of the mentioned replacements, although unproven, are more skilled than their mentors. Also expect several freshman surprises in a fierce competition for snaps. I also expect both Beck and Vandagriff to get significant snaps depending on opposition defensive schemes with Stockton to see a lot of "clean up" duty.

    wouldn't be surprised to see Back and BVG split starts the first two weeks of the season against tune-up competition.
