Kirby Smart, Georgia football players share first impressions of transfer arrivals
ATHENS — It was a major talking point during the 2022 season that Georgia did not bring anyone in from the transfer portal. Kirby Smart downplayed that angle often, saying there just wasn’t a proper mesh of need and fit for what Georgia was looking for.

Are they going to move Javon Bullard to SS and replace him with Javon Bouie at star? I'm curious about that.
Also, would Bullard be as good a strong safety as he's been a star?
But then ya got Tykee Smith and JacCorey Thomas and Aguero and Daniel-Sisavanh and Dan Jackson. Out of those seven guys, I think Smart will be able to fill star and strong safety pretty darn well.
Bullard's sort of an unsung hero in my book. He played great -- especially down the stretch against Tennessee, Michigan and TCU.
