ATHENS — Georgia could have the most talented defense of the Kirby Smart Era, according to former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray.

This is how solid our D was going into camp: Despite bringing in EIGHT top 100 defensive recruits in addition to Bouie, we could two deep just with returning players and not have a drop-off from last year's defense, because guys who were upstarts last year -- JDJ, Smael, Malaki, Mykel, Bullard, Bear, Marvin, etc. -- will be all that much better this year. And that's before you add in eight top 100 defensive freshman, plus Bouie.
I know some of those nine newcomers won't make the rotation. But, conservatively, three of four of them will contribute.
I am very excited about the new and returning players. Georgia Fans, we are living in the greatest Era of Georgia football. Go Dawgs!!
Dang, over the past few years we keep hearing that the Georgia D is going to be even better than the year before and each year it certainly seems like it. These truly are high times for the dawgs and for a dawg fan that has always wondered about what it would be like to cheer on an elite team, this is pure nirvana. Proud of the dawgs and this great coaching staff!
If y'all haven't watched him, go back and watch Jackson's block on Ringo's TD in the 2022 Bammer game (you know ... the first of the two in a row). Awesome play.
