These foot injuries with surgery are becoming more common. Mykel needs the reps. UGA beginning to see a small increase in injuries again. Hopefully, he will recover by fall. Hate to see him miss G-Day.
Is it the turf?
Kirby has those boys practicing like their hair is on fire. They incur a few more injuries, but it does help build depth. You can't have a championship team without championship depth.
Turf Toe?
The terrible turf monster at it again.😎
The only "turf toe" requiring surgery is a level 3. In Williams case...not to worry, as with the other injuries, this will give our underlings a chance to acclimate to the rigors of a Georgia practice thus providing much needed depth. Williams and all of our secondary along with Stackhouse, Logue, Walthour, Brinson, Alexander, and Big Baby look to me to be on the cusp of being the best Defence in UGA history....In the immortal words of Mr. T....."I pity the poor fools", that attempt to mount an offense against these bad boys!
Bummer. He can continue to work out in the weight room though.
This is good for Ingram-Dawkins and maybe for some of the young edge guys, though. They need the reps.
