Georgia DB Tykee Smith ready to bring the heat for Bulldogs, out of knee brace
ATHENS -- Tykee Smith sounds like he’s ready to bring the heat from the Georgia secondary now that he’s finally adjusted to playing in it.

Seems UGA has had injury or other trouble with portal players lately...but Tykee healthy is a wrecking ball for sure. Has a great attitude. Will be good to see him back at full strength.
Enjoy hearing the stories and perspectives of all the plyers that are allowed media time. May just be now sundrome, but feels as though there is more player exposure to the media this spring. If so wonder if it is part of identifying the upcoming leadership?
I love the perspective of individual players like Smith. There is so much to be said in his ability to maintain a positive mental attitude through the injuries and the questions around his overall ability and contribution due to that. What a strong young man with such a get it done attitude. He has what so many today lack and that is just basic grit. The determination to overcome obstacles and not sit and whine about what they have been dealt. I want to see him succeed as much as any other UGA player in a long time. Here’s to an awesome season Mr. Smith and to an attitude and grit that will take you far in life. Go DAWGS
Hopefully Tykee will have a spectacular season. He’s actually a 2 time All American winning recognitions his first 2 years at West Virginia. He was named to the Football Writers Freshman AA team for the 2019 season along with notable DBs like Kyle Hamilton and Derek Stingley….. and also our own Azeez Ojulari was on that team. Now it’s time for Tykee to shine again. Go Dawgs!!!
Much respect for Tykee for persevering through the hard things, injuries and adjusting to the ferociousness the SEC. Excited to see him break through in 2023.
Keep chopping, Tykee. And get that college degree, just in case the injury bug returns... gotta feed that little girl, hopefully from the League, but Plan B if needed. Go Dawgs!
Hope Tykee has a monster season.
