Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

What social media is saying about Georgia following 2023 G-Day game
ATHENS — As is usually the case, G-Day gave Georgia fans and national media pundits plenty to talk about. Such is life for the two-time defending champions.

Interesting. Good to know that rule about being in the portal by Feb. 1st if you want to transfer and play against another SEC team in 2023....so I can pretty much guarantee Bear won't be going to another SEC team.
Sounds like Riley may get him for USC...
As far as the G-day game goes, the only areas of concern that jumped out at me going forward is the depth and talent on the D-line and now in the RB room (if we don't get all these guys out now back by the Fall).
After this spring, Bear heard the hounds closing in. USC represents no more in team competition, very easy opposition week to week and very easy to shine. He'll get more playing time and if he can stay healthy, he'll go quick in the draft. He was NOT DAWG material as he never committed to the G. I wish him well in the PAC 12 and just maybe he'll get to meet up with DAWG competition once more.
Carson being able to run the 1 team the entire game gave him a big benefit of Brock who had to split a lot of the game with Gunnar. I think Brock would have settled in a bit if he had the role the entire game.
Possible that USC wins the Pac but not a given. Utah, Oregon and Washington will all have something to say about this. More likely he will never get to experience the playoffs again at USC and will go on to the pros where we will never hear from him.
If he chooses Texas, the better choice imo, he should be stabilized by being at home close to family and friends. I think Texas has upside the next 2 years so maybe we see him in the playoffs this year. This makes a lot more sense to me. Life isn't just about money...or is it?
Oh what could of been. We hardly even knew you man.
This is a good observation and one that I had during the game as well. Beck certainly had the benefit of the top players to throw to. Later in the game though Kirby gave BVG the 1st team reigns and the results were not great. I really liked what Beck did which was pretty impressive considering that was a top 5 defense last year (yes they were missing some guys). Beck looked great and is in the driver's seat. Gunner looked pretty darn good except for the batted/tipped balls which may be similar to what Stetson went through. Not sure if it is his throwing motion or not. BVG held the ball too long sometimes and he holds it low which would be a fumble. Patting the ball is a habit that needs to be corrected.
