ATHENS — Georgia probably would not have won the 2022 national championship without Jalen Carter, and it’s possible the Bulldogs wouldn’t have won their title in 2021 without him, either.

Nice article Mike, however in my opinion maybe you are selling Jalen a little short by describing him as simply "the most elite defensive tackle" in the draft. I personally feel like he is the most elite and best player in the draft - period. Plus I have yet to hear or read any opinion from any commentator, analyist, podcaster NFL executive or draft expert who do not feel the same way. I do realize that this is all subjective though and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Still a nice article.

"Carter also produced perhaps the most iconic moment for the defense of the 2022 championship season when he shot through the LSU offensive line and lifted Tigers’ QB Jayden Daniels off the ground with one arm in the Bulldogs SEC Championship game victory."

This play said a lot about Carter's character in my opinion.

Unlike Nick Fairley of Auburn as an example, who saw a chance to pile drive Aaron Murray and took it, Carter did the opposite.....a gesture of dominance without trying to inflict pain.

    Awesome play!
