I don't think the G-Day game, any Spring game is an accurate predictor of a D-lines future success. The D-line players have their hands tied to a point - they can't really get after the QB. That has to take some motivation away. Kirby said he doesn't have a dominant player on the D-line, but the depth is likely the best in CFB.
Some things stay the same. Good luck running against the Dawgs defense.

Oh Dear...Cole is concerned about the Dawg Defense.....Brandon, you hit the nail squarely on the head.....it was a combination of mandated restraint and the best O-Line in college football, for the THIRD year in a row! If I were Cole, I'd be pontificating on the train wreck The War **** Eagles/Tigers were last year and how is Coach Freeze going to resurrect that menagerie....My prediction, based on what I observed.....if you worry and focus on Big Baby Hall, our LB's will eat your lunch. If to worry and focus on our Edge and LB's, Big Baby Hall will be well fed!.....Joe Moore, Bronko Nagurski, and Dick Butkus will all be DAWGS at the end of 2023.
