Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

    Absolutely NO to the white helmets. They look too much like albarn.

    Do you feel the same way about the Dooley era star award decals on the helmet? I never like the bones but I loved the stars.

    to 1946Dawgshappened: Yeah, I wasn't crazy about the stars, either. I just don't like cluttering up the helmet like that.

    The white helmet immediately reminds me of the University of Miami, so that's a hard NO for me. Great information and discussion of the different combinations for the various uniforms over the years.

    @BillKing I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on game 1 vs UT Martin. I thought the SkyHawks (aren't all Hawks in the sky?) put up an admirable showing against our Dawgs. I would have liked to have seen a few more big plays in the first half, but overall a solid debut for Carson Beck, Coach Bobo and the offense. They, of course will need to continue to improve if they're going to reach the hoped for goals of this season, but there's plenty of time to do so with this schedule.
