NASHVILLE — Despite Kirby Smart’s best effort, the Georgia players speaking at SEC media days don’t know too much about the Chicago Bulls of the 1990′s. Those teams led by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, won three consecutive titles two separate times.

"Better never rest" is fine, but nothing gets you fired up like "I can guarantee you, we will not be hunted at the University of Georgia!" Go Dawgs!

Connor. Please accept this as a compliment. I stopped reading half way through to let my dog out, a few minutes later I picked up my phone and continued the article. All the while asking myself, who wrote this. It wasn’t in Connors usual style nor did it seem like MG. I was giving the credit to a guest writer. Then, when finished scrolled to the top and saw CR as the author. Great story and WELL WRITTEN!!

Brock Bowers reminds me of Christopher Reeves in Superman (I know I am dating myself). I saw the SEC interview and he is just shy to the point of almost nervousness. He just comes across as so likeable and genuine.

We will never have another like him. Maybe we should line him up at running back also and let his backups play some tight end? That might be a way to get Lucky and Delp in the game more.

I watched the presentation by Coach Smart and the interviews of the players on tv yesterday. I thought each did an outstanding job of representing the Bull dawgs. I think even the talking heads were impressed. Many complimentary things were said about the and the team.

We have a solid group of leaders. I think we have as good a chance as anyone. Should be a fun year.
