Just like in college football, a Georgia Bulldog is on top of the golf world. Brian Harman, who graduated from Georgia in 2009, won the 2023 Open Championship with 13-under par score. He shot a final round 70 to win his first major.

    GO DAWGS !!!! - This is so BIG!!! He played so well!! Won by 6 strokes. That's almost as dominating as, say... winning the NC in football by 58 pts. Congrats to him, can't wait to see "The Jug" between The Hedges!!

    I never watch golf, but I did the last 3 days. What a huge deal for him and of course it is good pub for UGA. I just love his story and how he has been grinding for a long time. He has been overdue for a win.

    I hope he continues to have great success. Maybe he has found his groove and this breakthrough is what he needed mentally.

    I remember CMR saying before the 2nd year he coached that the team just needed to blow the lid off and then they went on to win the SEC that year (I apologize if my memory serves me wrong). Success is 50 percent mental.

    Once again, congrats to Mr. Harman and his family who has been with him through all the grind. Dreams really do come true.
