He enjoys ribbing guys...which is fun. The guys know he cares and isn't doing it in a bad way. He can be brutal verbally but if a guy cannot take it what is going to happen if he gets to the league?
He may be more the exception nowadays but 30 years ago this was pretty common place. Life is tough and then you die.
