He looked good. If it weren't for a perfectly thrown ball that was dropped the field goal would of been a gimme kick. He played much better than the other 3rd teamers who were around him. Hopefully he can make the squad.

I just met him a few weeks back before training camp. He was down south of Athens as a guest speaker supporting a baseball christian ministry in nicaragua. Very interesting story and profession of faith. Wife was very kind. Just a great guy. Hope he gets another shot.

I too hope he’s on a 53 rooster. But just staying on a practice squad pays $250k per year

He's such a good guy. I had no idea what had happened before with the Bills and Giants but he never really had a shot. I think with the Bills he was like the 4th team qb or something wierd. He wasn't even allowed into the qb room. Then with the Giants I believe it was like Covid year or something and he had almost no reps with his wrs and tes was given 6 weeks to learn the playbook without practicing and then thrown out there. People said he looked bad and he did but most don't know the backstory of what happened.

So he basically had 2 lousy situations with almost no chance to succeed. I mean if you don't get into the qb meetings? I might be telling it wrong but I always wondered why he didn't do better in the NFL.

So I hope he gets a chance to make the team, make some money and maybe with a little luck gets a chance to play when it counts.
