ATHENS – Injuries have mounted at inside linebacker early in the season. Smael Mondon has been dealing with a foot injury that limited him to just six plays in the opener against UT-Martin.

To not get a tackle is concerning. That's all. It looked like his reads were a little slow and he got caught up in the wash quite a bit. I'm sure that will improve with playing time.
However, it may not matter with Raylen and CJ nipping at your heels already. Hard to keep all this talent off the field.
Since we are being objective, Pop did not play well. Not sure if his head is screwed on straight this year. Someone needs to wake him up.
CJ Allen was looking like he might be the next great one. LBU, baby!

What has Sorey been doing at practice the last 3 years? JDJ was also pretty quiet during this game. Didn't look like an All-SEC or All American. OL and LB only get "up" for challenging games?
CJ Allen was great to watch in HS and will be fun to watch at Georgia. He reminds me of Dean in that when he comes down field at you it is with really bad intentions.
