ATHENS — There’s a competitive fire that burns deep into the soul of seven-time championship coach Nick Saban, and naturally it was stoked by last Saturday’s 34-24 loss to Texas.

I wouldn't sleep on Saban and Bama. Go Dawgs!

It is not like the loss to Texas was a blow out. When Bama came back to take a late lead, I was almost certain they would win. Bama is still a top team and very much in the hunt.

Lol...I don't know what game you watched...but, Alabama got their asses kicked in the 4th quarter....again. That's been a Bama trait, over the last 3 years. Their offensive line was atrocious and the defense couldn't get pressure or control the LOS. Milroe was flushed from the pocket or forced to run more times than I care to count.

As for the "Eye Test"...this is not your Bama Team of the last decade. It's the new and watered down version. They NEED a Kirby Smart and Lane Kiffin, to fix it. Maybe, they can take what they learn this year, along with all that talent (on paper)...and turn it around, next year. I don't think you can fix all the flaws I saw, in a few games.

But...like somebody on here said...it would be foolish, to count Nick Saban out...71...or 17 yrs old, doesn't matter. IMO

I honestly think that Saban is on a downward trend. Where as KS is on a upward trend. That said you can Never underestimate Nick Saban. He’s a very, very smart and as said competitive HC. And he has a Huge ego to feed. He’s a very proud man. He’s not gonna go down without a heated fight.

But unless they’ve got a high quality backup QB we’ve not yet seen, their in Serious trouble at QB. Milroe is at least at this juncture Exactly what many of my fellow Dawgs fans said he was.

One fellow fan in particular called this before the season even started and that was @BigDawg61 , stating that Milroe is a very good sprinter with a strong arm. BUT he can’t read defenses very well, he’s not very accurate with the ball ( though some flashes of accuracy) and when pressured he panics and doesn’t know what to do with the ball.

These things said I don’t know if these negative elements can be coached up and out of him or not. Can they @BigDawg61 ?? Anyone else can answer to ??

But and Until and IF they can coach him up, Bama has serious issues at QB with Milroe. Now the TX Defense looked pretty stout. Pretty dawg gone good. But I don’t think the TX D is better than UGA.

And it’s quite possible there are other Ds that Bama will face that are As Good or better than TX. So it could be a long year for Saban and Gumpville !!

I respect Nick Saban but I don’t like him at all. To Me he’s an arrogant, egotistical little tyrant. And I’ll be Glad to see his ship sink, and watch Kirby and our Dawgs become the new dynasty !!

I’ve Long Since been sick and tired of all the media love and waves of drool placed on Saban and company. And I’m More than ready to sing the song Hey, Hey GoodBye !!

But he will go down kicking and clawing, which translated means he will Not go down easy. And Any team that underestimates him are only setting themselves up for a loss if playing him !! Go Dawgs !! Go Kirby Smart !!
