Brock Bowers is an amazing athlete. I'm glad he's UGA's TE but watching him run after the catch makes me wonder how good he would be as a RB.

    Brock is Superman, as always.

    Love that dude!

It would be even better if we had a QB that could consistently lead him as a receiver the way the SB did. Our QB hesitates and stutters way too much with the football for someone in the program since January of 2020. That is hundreds of live practices and QB meetings and going against the best defenses in college football in practices for 3+ years; yet still to stand in a pocket for 5 seconds with no heat on you and still “hitch” 1 or 2 times and not release the ball to receivers and give them a chance to make a play on the ball? Very disappointing to see as a fan of the game and this team. Hopefully he will get better as the season goes on, but not going to hold my breath since we are past week 5 and he still does the same things mechanically.

Oh well, can’t always get everything I want as a Dawg fan.

Carson gets Bowers the ball, Brock provides the explosion. The ball on that last TD he scored was under thrown, but Brock made his patented moves and to the HOUSE! This guy is a Heisman candidate...if not winner.

He is amazing to watch. His skill at getting open, his first move after catch is amazing, and he just refuses to be tackled. Hoping we keep getting elite TEs but I’m going to continue and enjoy Mr. Bowers because there won’t be another like him while I’m around. Go DAWGS

Brock made Stetson look better. Brock will make Carson and any QB look better. As much as I loved watching Stetson play, he did not always give Brock the best of throws, but Brock made many plays anyway. How many times did Brock pick balls off the turf or make plays on bad throws like the Florida game when Brock took a ball underthrown and turned a possible interception into 6 points. Carson seems to draw a lot of criticism, whether deserved or not, but Kirby must think he gives us the best chance to win. We have not had the chance to see what BV or Gunner can do with the 1st team offense in gametime, but Kirby and Bobo have seen enough in practice to make a decision to go with Carson. I am not an expert on QB mechanics, but if you look at the stats, so far Carson's numbers compare favorably with Aaron and Stetson. We will all get the chance to see if those kind of stats will stand up for the entire season.
