Georgia rises above SEC, smacks Kentucky 51-13 after Kirby Smart pushes motivational buttons
ATHENS — Georgia stands alone atop the SEC once more.

Coaching - A+. The Dawgs had a great plan for the game and the players executed it almost to perfection.
Kirby and Bobo clearly have faith in Beck who gets better with every game. Georgia uses more receivers than most teams, and I'm sure the more receivers you use the more time it takes to get the timing down with all of them. It looks like the offense is coming together and the defense is improving as well. The Dawgs are right where they want to be, and it doesn't get any better than that.
It was a complete game, from plan to execution, for the offense last night and it was a sight for sore eyes. Kirby remains the best at leading young men to align on a common goal and the willingness to put in the work to achieve that goal. Defense played well enough to win but the offense is definitely carrying the team. I don’t believe we have seen the best from this offense yet but it is starting to come together with players getting healthy. Great to see Milton back at close to 100% because he remains a beast when healthy. Really wish McConkey Godspeed in healing because having him 100% would be just another log for the fire. Loving Rosemy-Jacksaint - he is becoming Mr. Clutch. Go DAWGS.
Really glad to see Kirby not put handcuffs on the offense after the lead was established, even letting BVG keep the foot on the gas. BVG brings another element to the offense and we saw it with his running ability. Great tool box of options with this team.
Happily, the Great Wall of Georgia (Dawg offensive line) is finally showing itself. Hats off as well to RB Edwards who may not be a highlight reel but squirms his way for those meaningful extra yards every game.
Not a complaint at all but I really did expect to see McConkey go deep at least once. There was on series when I was certain it would happen but all we saw was a few 8 yard outs.
Again, this is not a complaint but I do hope to see his deep threat ability again soon. I am happy with the team but I hate that a nagging injury takes away from the individual.
Thought the offensive line finaly showed up and played well. Beck was not hurried on many of his throws and there were some hoes for the funning backs.
2 best stats of the night, Kentucky's star running back, who ran for 260 last week, had 59 against UGA. Carson Beck's 389 yards passing in 3 quarters.
Kudoos to the "Brocktober" sign creator....it is indeed "Brocktober" with weekly "Beck & Bobo Trick or Treat"......with Edwards, Milton as our "bag men" and Mr Jacksaint, and Rara haulin in the goodies....the SEC neighborhood is Dawg Territory!
