- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

SEC Power Rankings: Prove-it time arrives for No. 1-ranked Georgia
ATHENS — Georgia may very well deserve its No. 1 ranking, but these Bulldogs — and their quarterback — have plenty left to prove.

Prove-it time arrives. I like it!
How were the 2023 Dawgs going to get motivated after winning it all back-to-back? Not a shot at you, Mike G, but leave that to the rival fans and the Media narrative of they haven't played anybody. Yeah - that should work!
If our players need rival fans and the media to get motivated at this point we are in big trouble
Let's go Dawgs! We got this!!!
Recall that last season, there was a similar defining four game stretch (UF, UT, @MSU, @UK). When comparing that stretch to this year, we've got a hot Mizzou team coming to Athens - not quite the same situation as the vols were in 2022 and the media circus that was, but it will be just as challenging, and I'd say the games vs UM and at Knoxville will be tougher than the MSU/UK games were.
The Dawgs 3rd down defense is great, but it makes you wonder what is happening on the other downs, especially in the red zone. So while the Dawgs may struggle to stop these upcoming teams from getting their yards between the 20s , especially UM/Mizzou, they absolutely need to stiffen up in the red zone. For as much attention is being paid to Bowers missing, I'm hoping for improved tackling and communication in the secondary, and for at least "some" pressure from the DL. We will need more complementary football with the run game picking up some slack, and having a healthy Milton would be a huge boost in that regard.
In any case, the season has become focused on a few games, and this is where CKS is at his best, so I have no doubt the team will be giving it their all. Go Dawgs!!
I really don't get these "prove it" articles. We have not lost a game since late 2021 so Florida, Ole Miss, Mizzou, and Tennessee need to prove who they are. With the mantra "Better Never Rests", it does not sound like they feel the need to prove anything other than '21-'22 is in the past and these Dawgs are still huntin'!!!
Smart is a brilliant coach, motivator, and tactician. I have full faith and confidence he will have our team ready.
The ole saying “ The proof is in the pudding”. Well these Dawgs are about to beat the mud lizards into a nasty pudding !! Go Dawgs !!! Mash them gator heads !!
Off topic but wonder how this might play out....
TCU reportedly had knowledge of Michigan's alleged sign-stealing antics when the two teams met in the 2022 College Football Playoff semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl, Yahoo Sports reports. According to the report, the Horned Frogs staff used "dummy signals" in the team's stunning 51-45 upset win over the Wolverines after they were tipped off to suspicious activity from the Michigan coaching staff. As you might recall, TCU never trailed in the contest, building a 21-3 lead in the first half before hanging on for the six-point victory in one of the more surprising results a CFP game has ever seen.
Kirby about to go bully-ball for a month. Awesome having a coach who hates rival teams more than us fans ain’t it?
