I think Michigan's ridiculously weak SOS should keep it out of the top 4. I know I'm an SEC homer, but believe Auburn, Kentucky and Florida could handle Notre Dame and possibly Penn State. Heck, I believe even SC would give them fits, and that all the above would give Michigan a run for their money. To leave Georgia out would be absurd. And regardless of how the playoff rankings shake out over the course of the season, there should be serious consequences to Michigan's spygate. Go Dawgs!

The number 1 ranked in the 1st poll doesn't go on to win it all. We control our destiny. Just keep winning and the early polls mean nothing.

Couldn't agree more. At the same time, it irks me to hear anybody trash Georgia's week schedule, when I'd like to see any team outside of the SEC handle any team in the SEC's schedule. Go Dawgs!

How can you defend UGA's schedule when none of the teams they've played so far this year are ranked? Also when Ole Miss is your toughest conference opponent you can't brag about how tough it is. Auburn beating Norte Dame ha ha ha

I can't see a reasonable explanation that UGA wouldn't be in the top 2, much less the top 4.

Although, the bowl committee will do everything they can to prevent UGA from three-peating. They have to prop up the Big10 narrative as best they can.

Penn and ND are always grossly overrated teams. Just like USC.

The momentum is changing for the positive towards the dawgs. The word last week was Georgia may be left out of the top 4 and I hear that Sankey went nuts. Now if you listen to the football pundits-Most are placing Georgia number 1 tonight. They may put Ohio State number one, but they sure as crap had better not have the Dawgs worse than 2nd.

We don't have to defend anything-We are the Back to Back champs. Georgia right now would beat every team in the nation-If you doubt that then let's make a little wager.
