Great article, Mike! Loved Coach Kirby’s recruitment story…..explains a lot!

Reading between the lines, it kinda looks like Coach Kirby (and probably Coaches Muschamp and Bobo) hold a special type of grudge/hate feeling against Tennerssee……sorta like spurrier has against UGA!

Gotta love it…..extra fuel for the fire!

    Dawgs 52

    Vols 17

And to paraphrase the great Larry Munson:

“Just step on their face with a hob-nailed and break their nose…..just crush their face!!”

I gotta say, it really feels like we have coaches who fully understand the stance of the fan base on these rivalries. I’m not sure many other teams have that. In a day and age of compromise and reaching across aisles, it feels incredible to have leaders who embody the entire feeling of the fan base toward theses rivals.

This old dog likes 42-10 Dawgs. Looking for the defense to make that "adjustment" and drive'em back all day. Stop TN's run game and the contest is UGA's.

No way Georgia comes out of Knoxville without a win, this team is on a mission for a 3-peat! I just hope and pray that we don't get any injuries on that crappy field. It has always been an issue and we have had great players go up there and been victim to that turf. Praying especially that Bowers and Mims with their recent surgeries survive the day without incident. GO DAWGS!

    Great article, Mike.

Wonder if our Kirby & A Few Of His Best Friends might have a little extra spicy mustard this afternoon? They hate Tennessee more than we do. This game is personal for them.

    Go, Dawgs!
