Really going to miss seeing him in red and black
One of the greatest to ever don the Red and Black. Right up there with Herschel.
Bowers is nothing but a class act. I really hope he has a great pro career.
I rarely want guys to leave early for the NFL, thinking they owe UGA for all that they have been given and that one more year is just more time to "polish and shine".......However, in Brock's case, the truth be told, he was ready for the NFL the minute he set foot on North Campus! He has given The Dawg Nation more in three years than most any four or five star studded recruits, but the most important gift he has delivered is the standard he has set for not only the TE/Receiver Room but what it means to become and be a DGD......just like we all measure our RB's by The Hershel Standard, and our QB's by The Murray/Bennett Standard.....from this year going forward every player that wears the "G" has a standard set in the stars to shot for! GOOOO DAWGS, SICEM!
Let's not miss Brock yet, he has some solid football left to play for his alma mater. He was definitely dinged up yesterday. He plays hard. In the featured photo with this article it looked like targeting to me..but cannot tell for sure. Not trying to start something , just an observation.
I watched a lot of Herschel Walker footage. He and Brock play(ed) with the same abandon. Electrifying. Crushing. Elusive. What football is all about! Great stuff.
Looking forward the next few games Brock has with the DAWGS. He will be like Hershel, Champ, Hines, and a few others - folks will be talking about watching him play and remembering how great he was and was one of those game changing players.
Agreed!
