I don't get it. Conference realligns and we have to do two road trips to Auburn. They still owe us a home game, for that. Now, realignment, again, and, again, Dawgs spot another Alabama team a second home game. What a crock? How many decades before we get thr tide, in Athens?

We probably will get Alabama at home in 25 and A&M on the road finally. Maybe we get Oklahoma in 25 as well which would be fun. Excited about the new schedules. Better games. Glad we are out of the rotten east division which honestly was kind of boring.
The Dawgs always get the shaft when it comes to Bama and Auburn. And with the talent we are set to lose in the draft it will be hard to continue to be as good as we have been.
If Fran Brown goes to Syracuse he will probably take a few DBs with him and that will further decrease our player pool.

There's "kind of boring" and there's "meat grinder"... this is a meat grinder. Would have been nice to have something in the middle for 2024. I'd love to see the DN staff do an analysis of competitor schedules to see if anyone has a schedule this brutal next season 🙄

Actually, Florida has a tougher schedule next year, with 11 Power 5 teams. It's likely going to be another hard year for Billy Napalm!
Alabama's schedule is tough. Florida's schedule is tough. Oklahoma's is tough. The new reality is you are going to have the meat grinder schedules every 2-3 years. It is the new reality.
However, seeing as you can get to the playoffs with 2 losses as long as you have some good wins in there also I think we will be ok next year. I'm predicting 10-2 and we get to the playoffs. We split the Alabama Texas games and drop another somewhere. That should buy us somewhere between 8-12 depending on others. I'm ok with this.
