That’s kind of a crazy drop. I get it I guess but best team in country all season loses championship game by 3 points to number 8 team and slides 5 spots?

What an absolute joke. I could see one or two spots, but 5? How are they even behind Bama? Bama lost at home by 10! Texas lost to a mediocre Okla. team.

The rest of the college football world (outside the SEC) is circling the wagons. It is a glorious year for them—they have credible reasons to keep the SEC out of the CFP. 🤣

Edit: However, they still have to acknowledge the SEC is the best conference—5 teams in the top 15. 😉

As hard as I tried, I couldn't find another example of a comparable drop in the last 10 years (i.e., 5 spots under similar circumstances). Describing it as "crazy" is being kind. Go Dawgs!

I think our struggles against mediocre or worse teams may have been taken into consideration here.

lets hope that this was just a rebuilding year for us. ;)

Bama fourth in the CFP. SEC represented...FL State not.

I will say this...the commiittee does not like Georgia. Glad to move them to 6th. Just my read.
