Georgia’s Kendall Milton commits to Orange Bowl, ‘no way I would abandon my brothers’
ATHENS — Kendall Milton, Georgia’s touchdown leader, has already announced he will play in the Orange Bowl rather than break away to prepare for the NFL combine and ensuing draft.

Fanfrickintastic! Thank you Kendall...hoping most other guys follow your lead.
i hope so as well, but he needs this game to increase draft stock. some of the others aka Brock Bowers does not. So we will see.
Thank you Kendall. Hope more follow your lead. Lets finish this as a team and show the committee and the world that we were ranked number 1 all year for a reason. Dawgs by 14 + GO Dawgs! beat Seminoles
@T_Dawg...Yes, someone like Bowers may opt out, but I'd still be surprised just because he is such a competitor and loves playing the game. That is, if his ankle is in good shape. But if he does opt out then so be it. I'd understand either way. I think with FSU it could go either way - a lot opt out or they almost all opt in - depends on whether they want to make a protest kind of statement against the committee (opt-out scenario) or whether it is a prove-it game for those guys and they all opt-in.
DGD that Milton. Go Dawgs!
Love the comments by Milton, not just on himself, but how he points out the sacrifice others have made to play in these games. We as fans can be very critical and quick to blame but these are the guys suiting up and dealing with so many injuries, etc. Great to see this and great to see individuals, like Milton, reflect a great sense of commitment instilled by their parents, the program, or both. Go DAWGS.
Glad to hear this, an injury free Kendall Milton is a tough runner. He seemed to get stronger as the season progressed..GoDAWGS!
Literally no chance he suits up and plays. Nice to make these comments right now, but once he begins hearing from agents, he will make the smarter decision. Nothing left to do until the combine. You will see Paul, Jones and Robinson at running back.
The ONLY opt outs would be for legitimate injury, otherwise the players opting out diminish the culture that currently exist...wouldn't be surprised to see Pops get his arm all wrapped and padded and rotate in.....after the less than stellar play against Bama, I believe every DGD has some bad taste to get out and there is no better way than to take down the ACC conference champion.
Spdawg…Pretty disrespectful comment. Kendall is a high character young man. If he goes on record saying he’ll play, he’ll play. Go Dawgs!
Credit NIL for players staying and playin in their bowl games. Not only compensation but now they can be insured as part of their NIL deals.
Not disrespectful. I am sure he feels that way right now. Give it two weeks and he will reconsider when cooler heads prevail.
Kendall Milton I was So excited when you first came to UGA and Still am even as your time here is coming to a close. You will always be a DGD in this ole man’s heart. Your dedication is a testament to the great character you have. God Bless You Kendall I wish you All the very best in life And All your Brother Dawgs !! Thank You and Them for all the great and happy times Yall gave us !! Go Dawgs !!
Very well said! GoDAWGS!
We have enjoyed a historic and h e l l of a run. Kendall has been a Dawg for all 29 of those games. Kendall interviews very well and bought in to the Kirby culture at Georgia. Thanks Kendall and all of your Dawg Brothers for the contribution to making Georgia back to back National Champions. Hope your leadership inspires the younger guys to buy in the same way you have. God bless you in your NFL dreams and we will be rooting for you where ever you land!
