I would think that juniors Van Pran Grainger, Mims, and Ratledge would only raise their stock with another year, but I could not or would not criticize their move to the NFL....... Stackhouse, and Truss are both high draft picks and I wish them only the best.....hopefully my Eagles will go for one or both!

WTAF? "I'm stepping away from college football so I can be with my familiy and CFB doesn't allow that."

now it's "I'm going to coach CFB for Dabo Whiney"

UGA plans for an exodus every season. UGA has a number of OL queued up to step in. All those guys (63, 65, 69, and probably 73) are all moving on to the NFL.

While they all COULD benefit from another season at UGA, if they stayed , staying would jam up the progression plans for 56, 53, 55, and 57. 58? I expect Blaske to transfer. In fact, while looking over the roster, I saw 9 players on O and 9 players on D that were likely to TP out.

What actually becomes very interesting now is who on the OL hits the TP. Because whoever does, and there will be a multiple, good players, is now likely to end up at Clemson. Clemson's biggest weakness over the last few years has been OL.

Side note. I found it interesting that, after stating to watch out for AL trying to take key UGA players out in the SECCG, that "someone fell on" AMims's leg on the 2nd series of the game reinjuring him.

Stackhouse and Truss are not high draft choices unless you consider 4th rd a high draft choice. Truss has positional versatility but probably not enough to move him up higher than late 3rd rd. JSalyer went in the 6th rd.

This move sort of reminds me of Urban Meyer leaving Florida for his health and family, then suddenly he's just fine and landing at OSU..

Matt Luke simply could not cut it at UGA. Clemson? Have no idea who will take that game next fall..could go either way. Luke is good. Exceptional recruiter. Wish he had stayed and was able to take the heat Kirby can deliver.

Maybe its' about being out on the recruiting trail all the time? Maybe he cut a deal with Dabo that he can spend x ampunt of time with the family?

Luke had made enough to retire, then Biden gets into office, and two years later it's not enough...

Good get for Clemson. But it also shows why Clemson has dropped. Coaches do not have to work as much there.

Matt Luke was a great addition to the Georgia coaching staff. Was disappointed to see him leave when he did. Clemson will benefit greatly to have him on staff. The O line is an essential component of a successful team. I think the men liked playing for him. He helped them grow and succeed.
