ATHENS — Tuesday was not Mike Bobo’s first time speaking as a finalist for the Broyles Award, given annually to the nation’s best assistant coach. He was first a finalist in 2012.

Moore of Michigan will win the award.
It's funny that Michigan's coach was one of the finalist. Connor Stallions should have been a finalist. He did more for Michigan than any coach they had on staff this year.

They gave it to Parker from Iowa. They same team that got shutout by Michigan? Really?

I hope Bobo gets it. I know he’s more hurt than any of us about the SECCG. To Me the fault for that loss could easily rest as much if not more on our Defense.
But he did lead us to a 12-0 regular season with Beck getting his first time as Starting QB. Not to mention all the injuries to some of our best players, Bowers, McConkey, RaRa. Didn’t get Milton back fully healthy until pretty late in the season.
Guess I’m a total homer but I feel he deserves it as much as any of these other guys or more. But all I have to say doesn’t mean squat.
CFB in my view is officially tainted. The Playoff Committee proved what had been thought by many including me with their selections. It’s NOT about what you do, it’s All about WHO you are and the $$$ circulating around that Who.
Yeah I’ll keep watching the Dawgs, and I Still Love Em, Always Will. But with the bias, unfairness, and down right dishonesty injected into sports these days, it leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth. Go Bobo !! Go Dawgs !!
