While I certainly appreciate everything these guys gave to UGA in IMO if you enter the transfer portal you don't travel to the bowl game.

I like Puglisi. Saw him practice and in av few game (video). He has a true bullet arm. The ball release is quick and brutal for the receiver. Much stronger than Raiola..in my opinion. I know he will ball out for UGA. I believe he is a 4 star, so won't be transferring...lololol. Raiola? Who knows. He may be one of those grass is greener 5 stars...lolol. Hopefully, he will break the trend.

Congrats to Vandagriff. I don't blame him for transferring if Beck is coming back. Otherwise, a **** move. So he knows something we do not. I really liked this kid. Sad to see him bolt. I doubt this move will raise his NFL status. I do not wish him well against UGA. Sorry.

I read an open but rather credible UGA-based rumor that Beck (his agent) is asking $4 miilion to play at the Orange Bowl and remain at UGA for 2024? This is roughly what he could make as a second round NFL pick, according to the source. See it to believe it.

Not happy to see Brock leave the Dawgs. I assumed he would be the starter next year IF Beck declared for the NFL draft. It now seems very important that Beck stays in school for another year.

I agree with UGA66 on Puglisi. He seems to have a Beck like quick release and an even stronger arm. Raiola has a history of transferring from one high school to another. His junior year he played for the school that had won 5 or 6 straight championships and then transferred again. All that transferring in high school troubles me. It surely indicates something, but I’m not sure exactly what.

In any event, we obviously need Beck to come back for one more season. Otherwise, we either get Gunner ready or grab a QB from the portal. Wouldn’t want to throw a true freshman out there, although Jake played well as a true freshman but he had two great running backs to ease the pressure.

Wishing Brock the best. He’s been a DGD. Gonna miss him.

Whether Beck stays or goes, Vandagriff, as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining, really had no choice but to go somewhere else, a power 5 program in which he is practically guaranteed to be the starter. Given his skillset, Vandagriff has a chance to be one of the best QBs in Kentucky football history and make it to the NFL. I hope Georgia wins, but, should Vandagriff prove out, I expect a tough game for our Dawgs.

As to Raiola? I have never seen a QB commit to any school go so all out to help with recruiting and appear so committed to his future school. If Raiola shows in practice that he has ‘the stuff’, I hope he sees more significant playing time in the coming season than Vandagriff got this season. Managing a loaded QB room is challenging—it is easy to go from riches to rags in short order. 😇

I have been confused about BVG and his stay at UGA. While Carson was Stetson's backup, you would hear positive things about Carson's abilities. When Stetson was on the scout team, you would hear positive comments. Since BVG having been the backup, the only positive comments I have heard have been from people outside the organization. I have heard little from the coaches. I have heard more from Kirby about Gunner and his play on the scout team. With BVG's running abilities, I thought this year we would have seen some packages designed for him as a change of pace. He only got mop up duty. Makes me wonder if Gunner was impressing the coaches more than BVG. Also remember, Bobo and Gunner have always been tight with Gunner committing to South Carolina when Bobo was there and the decomitted when Bobo left. BVG entering the portal so soon and without a clear decision from Carson adds to my confusion.

I'm happy for Brock V. He stayed, competed, and did what was asked of him. I'm sure he'll got his shot at Kentucky, where he would not next year at UGA. The portal was meant for guys like him, not for AD Mitchell or J Burton. I've enjoyed the embarrassing year a certain D Tackle at USC had. He won't help teams much.
