I do think that Beck would benefit greatly from one more year. I am sure that is what Raiola is waiting to see. i think he flips to Nebraska if Beck stays. 5 star QB's dont like to be buried in the depth chart. I hope that I am wrong and that he comes in ready to play and fight for the 2025 spot but who knows. Amarius Mimms might also benefit from another year of injury free play which would help us out greatly trying to re-tool that OL for whomever is our QB next year.

Would love to see both Mims and Beck stay for another year. I believe Beck will see the extra year will not only give him better prep, although he is a very solid QB now, but also a better peer group to go against. All 4 of those QBs appear to be a better choice but pro days can definitely change the shape of things. Mims may have had too much of his year interrupted by injuries. He definitely has the measurables and his play was very solid, but the $ difference in Round 2 vs. Round 1 is significant. As with all, NIL $ will be needed but sure feel it would be a solid decision for both to return.

Raiola appears to want to start his first year. He can only do that at a level two school like Nebraska where the competition is less than what he will see at UGA. He is all but gone at this point.

Doubtful Lassiter is a 1st rd pick. Mims has all the tools at the position. Had he shown he could play LT , Mims would be a rd 1 lock. He still may be as a RT. If Beck returns and takes the next step in command of the O he is a rd 1 lock for '25. 19, 63, 69, 22, 73, 84, 10, 2(D), 2(O), 30, will all be drafted (in that order).

Thought the Raiola team/handlers were smarter. Dylan can start as a freshmen but he can't win a power 5 conference or national championship as a freshman. A yr apprenticeship a la Beck would set him up for championships in yr 2 and beyond.
