Offensive lineman Austin Blaske has become the latest former Bulldog to find a new home via the transfer portal, as Blaske announced he would be transferring to North Carolina.

    Could've been the starting C in '24. But then 55 likely transfers. OL depth (58, 66) taking a hit in the '23 TP. Young OL will be counted on to step up.

    He was not the back up center in '23, so why would he be the starter in '24. I was surprised he didn't play more this year after the glowing comments from Kirby pre season. I know he was hurt some, but got passed by Fairchild, Morris and Freeling. I hope he gets a real chance to show his talents at North Carolina.

    Sad to see him go. Not sure UNC is a stable program right now. I attended the UNC/NC State game a few weeks back. UNC looked totally unprepared and showed little effort against a big rival. Mack Brown, a very nice fellow, seems out of it half the time. I have a son who graduated from UNC and a grandson who’s a senior there. Obviously I pull for them because of family ties, but things don’t look promising at UNC at this time. Hope Austin makes the Heels better, but the program is a mess right now.
