Georgia has long brought in great linebackers, especially since Glenn Schumann an Kirby Smart arrived in 2016. But they’ve never landed a recruit as hyped as 2024 commit Justin Williams.

Speed at inside linebacker has been what UGA'S defenses have been known for. Roquan, Nakobe, Quay, Channing and now Smael. It is probably why JDJ moved on, knowing the speed of our younger linebackers. Watching Roquan and Nakobe beat opposing runners to the edge was a thing of beauty. Sounds like Kirby has found another UGA linebacker loaded with that kind of speed. The highest rated linebacker Kirby has recruited! I can't wait.
Williams, CJ, and Raylen all have that speed. Williams is the best high school inside linebacker prospect I've ever seen. Ever...
