Look, I get it, they are upset, and we have reason to be upset as well. Afterall, we were #1 for the whole season and lose by 3 points in our league championship game and fall all the way to #6?? That's never happened before. Still, you don't hear Kirby crying about it every time the press is gathered. THEN, Coach Norvell has the audacity to cry about the effort they are having to put into signing day, the transfer portal and preparing for the game against Georgia, he says it is "overwhelming". Cry me a river! How many coaches are there in this country that would give their right arm to be in his position? Kirby says that "pressure is a privilege". It's just amazing the difference between our coach and some others..(Ryan Day anyone??) . Ready for our dawgs to show the world that they should have been in the playoffs. As Kirby would say, those things are proven on the field. GO DAWGS!
When a lot of players play in a non play off bowl, that don't have to, and a lot of players don't. Maybe it has to do with caring about your team mates and school.
They say the best never rest. That's why UGA keeps pulling in top recruiting classes every year. It's a year round deal with Kirby, and crew. He, and his staff are the reason why elite players choose the DAWGS. Hard work, dedication, and commitment not only developes those elite players. It also helps the coaching staff, who is working even harder than the players..GoDAWGS!
It does seem like Kirby works very long hard hours and almost never rests. As a person, I worry about his health as stress can lead to many health issues. Here’s hoping he can take some down time and recharge.
I think that once he starts throwing oranges from that crystal bowl to the crowd after the game ...... he'll be fine!! 🤣😎
