MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Carson Beck wasn’t all that bummed to sit out the second half. He had done more than enough in the first half, completing 13 of his 18 pass attempts for 203 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Alot more reps coming in the off-season as the clear #2 QB will be of great benefit for his growth. When BVG transferred before Carson made a definitive decision, I wondered if BVG was hearing footsteps behind him. Gunner is a capable runner and in the small sample, looks pretty accurate. He clearly is a fighter and I think would have been battling for the #2 job if BVG stayed.

What an uplifting end of the season. Milton made my day! Edwards, Beck, Ladd, Van Pran...on and on...too many DGDs to list them all.

I was really impressed and proud of Gunner. Another unselfish, patient rising star.

Thanks for a great year, Guys. The loyalty the Dawgs show, relative to other programs, was quite apparent in the devastation that happened in the game (I feel for the Fla State coaches and loyal players that played their hearts out). Shame on a system that promotes money driving everything.

Really looking forward to the Spring...so much fine talent!

Adios my brothers and sisters, God bless. Go Dawgs!

OK he doesn't look like a starting QB is supposed to look. Looks more like a fullback, but he did a real nice job I thought. He certainly didn't seem like the moment was too big for him. He took some good pops but kept on ticking. His legs are a weapon.

Reminds me of Stetson Bennett with the running ability. The future is bright

Never know. Just ask Jake Fromm. Or Stetson Bennett.

What? He doesn't throw as nice a ball as Beck but hardly looks like a fullback. You must hate Georgia football to say that. Gunnar is the real deal.
